The work of the KID Foundation is made possible through the generous support of individual donors, as well as foundation and government grants. We need your help to continue our work with children and adults with SPD and their families. Together, we can greatly improve the lives of those who have this disorder.

How Your Donation Helps

When you support the KID Foundation, you are helping to:

• Provide scholarships for occupational therapy treatment for children with SPD
• Support scientific research into the underlying causes of SPD and the best means of intervention
• Support SPD Parent Connections, a nationwide parent-to-parent support network, now active in more than 30 states
• Support educational workshops and outreach efforts, which help parents and professionals alike to understand SPD
• Support the SPD Resource Directory, a national directory where families can find out about physicians, dentists, therapists, and community resources in their area
• Support our efforts to get SPD recognized as a legitimate diagnosis in the diagnostic manuals that are used by physicians and insurance companies
